Cindy has dedicated her 25+ year career to making knotty ecological problems easy for everyone to understand and engage with. Through experiences with businesses, industry, K12 and higher education, Cindy has crafted a unique approach to help businesses focus their sustainability efforts and build strong community partnerships.
Ultimately, Cindy is passionate about helping businesses, localities, and school districts enhance their sustainability efforts, build community partnerships and connections to the natural world.
Cindy is an author and has created Environmental Literacy and Sustainability plans, as well as engagement tools for educators and parents. She has also created hundreds of hands-on activities and exhibits to enhance understanding of what is right in your own backyard.
She has been married to her husband, Richard, for over 30 years and they have two sons. Cindy is an avid hiker, kayaker, and nature photographer.
